Semper Paratus was founded in April 2009 and is a raid guild aimed at mature end-game leveled characters.

Welcome
All new members receive rank of Trial for 2-4 weeks (under normal circumstances - officer discretion) before being eligible for promotion.
Promotion based on multiple parameters, such as conduct, activity, raiding, website registration and "guild behavior".

Raiding
Raiding is scheduled for evening hours: 20:30 - 23:30 Realm Time Wednesday, Thursday and Monday.
Raid loot is distributed using EPGP (Effort Points / Gear Points). Setup for EPGP system can be found in forums.
This is a raid guild - in practice this means that if you hold raider rank, you do not pug raids scheduled by the guild unless agreed with and accepted by an officer.
Inactivity in-game and on-site for a week+ without any prior warning or notification will automatically lead to exclusion from the team and the search for a replacement. We raid with a small, but tight, group, and are therefore relying a lot on the dependability of the raiders. If this can be questioned, we will look for replacements.

Ranks
Social: members of guild for a more social purpose (at the moment). Free to pug, and are not part of the raid invites. Can activate to Raider status after agreement with an officer.
Trial: initial raider rank, evaluated after two to four weeks - may be prolonged in some circumstances.
Raider: Are expected to respond to raid invites, to attend raids and to prepare for raids.
Council: Experienced raiders with access to officer chat.

Raid Discipline
Meeting discipline must be upheld when raiding.
So, always sign up when you can, and do not sign up when you can't make it. If signed up but unable to make it, always notify an officer or raid leader.
Excessive lack of discipline will be addressed by officers and lead to demotion and/or guild kick.

Be cordial and have fun
This guild is for mature people, and mature people only.
We're here to have fun and progress, with equal emphasis on both.
So behave appropriately. Annoying or abusive behavior will not be tolerated - neither will drama queens.
This is a guild built for raiding, so no asking for boosts or gold or whatever from your fellow guildies.
